About Shop 4 Hope, St. Jude and Epsilon Sigma Alpha...
Our Mission
To provide people with the opportunity to raise money for St. Jude
Children’s Research Hospital while shopping online and spread
the word about St. Jude so that the parents and doctors of any child
in need of its services will be aware of its existence.
About Shop 4 Hope
When we discovered that two of our favorite things could be done
at the same time, shopping online and raising money for St. Jude
Children’s Research Hospital, we decided to put them both
together. We strive to create a fun and easy place for you to shop.
Shop 4 Hope was founded in 2006 by Epsilon Sigma Alpha member Karin
Casazza.
About You
Shop 4 Hope gives you the chance to help the children at St. Jude while
doing what you normally would anyway, shopping online. There is
no extra cost to you and no personal information will be gathered.
Now you can feel good about spending money on-line! After all it is to
help the children, right!?
Shop 4 Hope will donate all the proceeds to St. Jude Children’s
Research Hospital.
About St.
Jude Children's Research Hospital
St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility
anywhere. Discoveries made there have completely changed how the
world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
St. Jude is where some of today's most gifted researchers are able
to do more science, more quickly. Where doctors across the world
send their toughest cases and most vulnerable patients. Where no
one pays for treatment beyond what is covered by insurance, and
those without insurance are never asked to pay. St. Jude has built
America's 3rd-largest health-care charity, with a model that keeps
the costs down and the funds flowing, so the science never stops.
All patients accepted for treatment at St. Jude are treated without
regard to the family's ability to pay.
About Epsilon Sigma Alpha
Epsilon Sigma Alpha International (ESA) is a powerful network that brings
good people together to accomplish good things—locally, nationally,
and internationally.
ESA programs and projects help members make a positive difference in
the lives of others and in their own lives, both personally and professionally.
Since 1929, ESA has created a powerful network of more than 1,000 chapters
to excel in community education, service and philanthropy. “Hands-on”
philanthropic endeavors provide more than 650,000 hours of direct service
to those in need. Each year, ESA’s 15,000 members also help to raise
over $10 million for charitable causes.
ESA’s unique programs provide each member with the training, education,
and support they need to promote successful public service, while developing
personal and professional skills in management, public relations, and
overall leadership.
ESA has long been known as an organization on the cutting edge. Always
ahead of its time, ESA continues to blaze new trails for enhancing
volunteerism.
